Focus on building consistency, and here’s what I mean by that 👇🏻
1. Start posting 1-3 times a week.
2. Figure out what is manageable for you.
3. Add more or less as you go. But keep going!
4. Focus on being consistent for the next month and finding your sweet spot. It can always adjust as you need it to. Yes, seriously.

As a SMM for the last 6 years I have to say this is a button pusher for me. There is so much research and time that goes into content strategy.
We all have budgets and there is no denying limited budgets but asking freelancers to take a pay cut that certainly isn’t a time cut is never in the best interest of your business.
❌negotiating like that is NOT business savvy
This is why I like to start the conversation by asking budgets and getting an idea of a clients needs. Often times businesses think they need to post every day when they don’t!
There are ways you can have a social media strategy that doesn’t have fo break the bank but coming to the table asking for someone to work full time hours, and paying less than part time is bad business practice.
You can move the needle in your marketing on a budget!! But please, for the love do not ask a freelancer to do something they have said they won’t do. Check out their website. Understand the reason why things cost what they do. Ask about costs if you don’t understand. Social media is a worthwhile investment but keep in mind the time and experience you are asking for!

- Maybe your account is your side hustle and you know marketing will help you get more business but you’re stuck with feelings of overwhelm 🙅🏻‍♀️
- Maybe you can’t afford someone else to run your marketing but you know consistent posting is your nemesis and you can’t see to commit to positing because you’re asking TOO MUCH of yourself.
🗞 Consistent posting does NOT mean posting daily.
I hear from business owners all the time who don’t post at all because of the overwhelm they face in thinking that if they don’t post perfect content 7 days a week it’s a failure.
Hear 👏🏻me👏🏻 out posting once a week is better than nothing. Posting twice a week is better than nothing.
The 🔑 is to figure out what you can commit to and then post!!

Taking time to create content ✨for yourself✨is hard!
If you’re struggling to take the time to create content, I get you! As a social media strategist it is hard to take the time from doing client work and creating for others to actually create for my business.
Maybe you’re struggling to create content and show up on social media because you’re busy running your biz!
But here’s the hard truth👉 this is also part of business!
If you’re struggling to create content here are some tips:
1. Start batching content! It really is a lifesaver. You don’t have to create a months worth of content in a day like some ‘gram people like to think. Instead focus on one or two weeks at a time. Think sustainability!
2. Set reminders in your phone to post Reels since they are still manual posts, meaning we can’t schedule them.
3. Stop trying to be perfect. Preaching to the choir here!🙌 Quality over quantity is true but what’s worse than that is not posting at all due to fear or perfectionism. Instead of wanting perfect, focus on serving ONE.
