Working in my senior year of college as the Head of Public Relations and Marketing for the Georgia Film Festival was an amazing experience. Not only did I run the accounts live throughout the sessions but I got to meet many people who had heard of the festival through the social media accounts. Note the importance of utilizing your location in posting for future events.
As Marketing Lead, I produced social media content for the Communication & Film Department and conducted all publicity for the Georgia Film Festival. I ran both accounts on multiple social media outlets including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more. This included storytelling content showcasing UNG alumni, current students, faculty, and UNG student projects. This job allowed me to grow creatively and implement my ideas for these departments and events on a wide spectrum.
